Unidentified Drones Temporarily Close Munich Airport

Munich Airport in Germany was temporarily closed in the evening hours after unidentified drones were detected in its airspace.

Dozens of flights were canceled, while at least 15 flights diverted to Stuttgart, Nuremberg, Frankfurt, and Vienna airports.

The drones were first spotted by air traffic control and later confirmed by police helicopters.

It is reported that the incident may be linked to similar drone sightings over airports and critical facilities in Denmark and other parts of Northern Europe in recent weeks.
